Originally from Ohio Jordan had been introduced to yoga/meditation as a form of cross-training during swim season. An athlete for most of her childhood, health and wellness were seeds that were planted early in her consciousness. Having to find a cheaper (aka free) way to practice yoga during college, Jordan turned to the internet. With the ease of being able to practice in her space, at any time, yoga creeped its way into her daily routine. Once you become privy to life with yoga, not much makes you want to go back to life without yoga. A fresh graduate in 2015 from Ohio University with a BA in Human and Consumer Sciences, Jordan took a leap of faith where she was ultimately brought to Hawai’i and now a life filled with yoga. Her goal as a teacher is for at least one person to walk away from class feeling empowered to do the right thing, and water the desire to make it a habit. As a student of life and yoga her goal is to never stop learning.
